4 stars Chamonix hotels: just a short ride away via Geneva airport!

Ski holidays can sometimes be a logistical nightmare: inaccessible ski resorts, bulky luggage, multiple changes on public transport etc. Well, if you’ve booked a winter holiday to the winter sports mecca of Chamonix, you’ve just made life a lot easier, thanks to its excellent transport links to Geneva airport. 4 stars hotels in Chamonix can take the hard work out of organizing your transfer by arranging it for you, but it may be equally easy to book online. There are many different private companies that run regular services to Geneva airport, some of which are helpfully listed on some of the four star hotel websites in the Chamonix area. Taxis, minibuses and larger coaches all make the journey to the airport, generally taking around 1 hour and 10 minutes to 1 hour and 20 minutes. Some of these will offer a door-to-door service. For those with deeper pockets, there’s even the option of a helicopter transfer!

Chamonix – your final destination

If you’re using the door-to-door service, it goes without saying, make sure you have the exact location of the hotel you’re staying at! Once in Chamonix, you have a wide selection of two, three and four star hotels from which to choose, offering rooms from the relatively simple, to those which are more like miniature chalets with all the luxurious touches you would expect from a 4 star hotel in Chamonix.

Another important advantage with most airport transfers is that you can generally expect all drivers to have a good grasp of English. For more information, check out the different companies online or contact the local tourist office or the hotel in Chamonix you intend to be staying at.
