Getting To East Midlands Airport

East Midlands Airport is in the centre of the country, surrounded by the cities of Nottingham, Derby and Leicester and within easy reach of Sheffield, Stoke upon Trent and Tamworth. The Airport is easily accessible from all parts of the UK, either by road or by public transport

From Birmingham: Take the M42 northbound until it changes into the A42, follow road signs to airport.

From Bradford: Take the M62 to join the M1 southbound, continue southbound coming off at J24, follow road signs to Airport.

From Coventry: Take the M69 until it joins the M1, take the M1 northbound and continue along the M1 until you reach J23A, then follow the raod signs to the Airport.

From Leicester: Take the A50 northbound and join the M1 northbound. Come off at J23A and follow signs to the Airport

From Liverpool: Take the M62 or M6 J21A southbound, continue south coming off at J15 onto the new A50 link (dual carriageway) southbound. Continue south on the A50 until the interchange at J24, M1, then follow the road signs to the Airport

From London: Take the M1 northbound, continue along the M1 and come off at J23A then follow road signs to the Airport.

From Luton: Take the M1 northbound, continue northbound coming off at J23A then follow signs to the Airport

From Manchester: Take the M62 or M56 westbound joining the M6 southbound, continue south coming off at J15 onto the new A50 link (dual carriageway) southbound. Continue south on the A50 until the interchange at J24, M1. From there folow road signs to the Airport.

From Nottingham: Take the A52 westbound joining the M1 J25 southbound, continue southbound coming off at J24, follow road signs to the Airport

From Stoke-on-Trent: Take the A50 link (dual carriageway) southbound. Continue south on the A50 until the interchange at Junction 24, M1. From there follow the road signs to the Airport

From Wolverhampton: Take the M6 southbound joining the M42 at J8. Continue northbound on the M42 until it changes into the A42, from there follow road signs to the Airport.

From York: Take the A64 southbound to the A1, continue southbound on the A1 until joining M18 J12 southbound. Continue southbound on M18 until joining M1 J23. Continue southbound on M1 and come off at J23, follow signs to Airport
